Investing in impact and growth

A different way of giving back

Giving isn’t limited to charity. I allocate 5% of my pre-VAT income to a People & Planet Fund which is granted or invested in organisations committed to positive impact. I look for social enterprises who specifically leverage commercial models to scale their impact, enabling long-term growth and greater change.

It aligns with my philosophy for the way even for-profit businesses could be run - where sustainability programs are an investment in growth and success.

who I support and why

Solar for Schools

What they do: They build solar on school roofs around the world; reducing carbon emissions; educating kids about climate, renewables, and STEM; and helping schools manage it all.

Why I like them: Any additional revenue generated from solar infrastructure goes back into more solar, more schools and more education.

Uplifting People

What they do: They inspire HR leaders to drive positive change in their organisations and they offer meaningful employee gifting that helps companies live their values - with 100% of profits going to support vulnerable children.

Why I like them: As their HR community grows, their gifting program sales and profits grow, so more vulnerable children in some of the poorest parts of the world are empowered to be safe, loved and learning.
