Building brands with purpose...

Kimberly-Clark is a brand-led business, and a global personal care consumer giant, with household names such as Kleenex, Scott, Andrex, and Huggies. Brand purpose - a direct link between a brand and values consumers care about - is key to success these days. I helped develop and deliver tangible brand programs that gave some of KC's brands a purpose they could be proud of.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Led the development of a global brand-based social impact program (“Toilets Change Lives”) that delivered significant incremental revenue (through unlocking retailer promotional deals and shelf space) AND also helped bring sanitation to 500k people in some of the poorest parts of the world.

  • Built an investment plan and operational model for nappy recycling facilities in South Africa and Israel that we forecasted would increase Huggies market share through consumer loyalty programs AND keep 20,000 tonnes of nappies out of landfill.

  • Developed and managed on-going relationships with global NGO partners providing credibility and support for many company and brand commercial launches – for example with WWF, WaterAID, UNICEF, and the FSC.

AND ALSO....

In my role at Kimberly Clark - I also co-led the development of the global sustainability strategy – managing a global valuation and scenario exercise looking at the long term potential within both the consumer brands, and the B2B Kimberly Clark Professional business.

From strategy to executing brand programs at the market level, I have experience I think could help.
